It's a pile of crap but it's also a Good Thing because it means that you will - hopefully - see your children grow up.

I do hope that they manage the pain for you (I am terribly glad that you will not be needing radiotherapy or chemotherapy - if I am remembering rightly). Medical grade morphine, when they get the dose right, is ace.
