oh thanks very much, self fulfilling prophecy

yesterday i was saying that i hoped that my blood test today would show up a mild infection that would mean that i couldn't have the chemo on wednesday.

this morning i woke up with a UTI. yep, don't want to pee because it hurts like hell, have to pee because, well, it hurts like hell.

luckily i was able to get an appt to see the quack.... who told me to take some antibiotics and that i would be find by wednedsday and not to worry. oh great. so i got the infection, but it wasn't enough to get me out of the chemo.... and to top it all, no coffee or red wine to get me through the next 2 days. what am i supposed to do?

Of course. On re-reading that comment was totally badly written - the argh was meant to be sympathy for badly timed UTI. It'll be great to see you when you're up to it.
