bye bye bed
Jan. 14th, 2005 12:14 amwell, my very own bed has moved out of the house. i'm sad. up until it went I would have changed my mind. I mean, what's wrong with having your feet stick out the end of the bed? honeslty, some people are so picky. really. i want it back. I don't suppose I'll ever have a hand built bed ever again. well, it seems to have gone to a good home, seems like a nice person who's got it now. she seems to understand as well. how it's a special bed, my first baby had his first at home feed in that bed. and many hundreds of other feeds. it was the best ever bed for feeding a baby in - just the best. the bed that N experienced might be bigger, and have a more comfortble mattress, but it doesn't have a tilting headboard. I want another bed with a tilting headboard. B might think that I will forget about it, but I won't. we will have a bed as near to the one that has just gone. it will just be big enough for the tall person. we will have one. even if he has to build it himself.
at least it's generated some money for a good cause - £50 of the money she had been saving to buy a new bd is going to the tsunami relief fund.
