not making that mistake again

the last sunny day i was sat here at the computer berating myself for not having any washing to hang out. you'd think of course that i would have been happy that there was no laundry to be done in the house.

i have just hung a load out, in the sun, so no complaints today.

off to see the quack with a list of complaints instead.

1. baby led weaning:
   this is both weaning from breastfeeding at the baby's pace, and weaning onto solid foods at the baby's pace too. We did the second with N, and it seems we are now in the process of the first as well.
2. breast feeding:
   very near to my heart. I have now breastfed for 40 months. and have been a breastfeeding mother for over 4 and a half years, becasue once you have breastfed, you are ALWAYS a breastfeeding mother. and I am trying to continue training to be a breastfeeding counsellor with the ABM, so that I can support other mothers who want to breastfeed their babies.
3. children's books:
   i have to be interested in children's books. and soon i hope my older son will be reading to me
4. ducati:
   i have to admit that the first thing I noticed about Bill was his Ducati 750SS. and he now has a 748BP, the BP so I can go on the back. it's not comfy, and there's nothing but him to hold onto, but I giess that's the point.
5. homeopathy:
   i've used it a bit with both the boys and myself. I think it works for some things and not others. even my mum is using it now. i got a consitutional remedy that didn't make any difference to me, but i've cured cystitis with it, and TT & N both responded to it for teething remedies, and TT's case of chicken pox was a doddle thanks to me taking the time to get a speciifc remedy rather than just the generic rhus tox
6. machine knitting:
   i have two machines, and have spent a fortune on accessories, a hague linker, a keyto cabinet all sorts of books patterns etc. please can I have some time to use them now?
7. parenting:
   it's what I do now.
8. serging:
   another word for overlocking and it's revolutionised my sewing, i love it.
9. thomas the tank engine:
   thomas the tank engine puffing along, doo-doo-do-do, what's not to like
10. yarn:
    yum, yarn. there's so much I can do with it. there's so much under the bed and in the attic and in the closet in the playroom and in the ... now please may i have some time to use it? (so that i can buy some more?)
