Oct. 11th, 2005 03:01 pmfucking bbc. i should have known better than to trust them.
by yesterday i'd had it up to the neck with how their show was taking over our charity knitting event. but hey, all publicity is good publicity. and this afternoon they are "really sorry, but they've decided that our event doesn't fit the tone of the show"
fuck'em. we've got our city knitty in the daytime back.
i just wish i hadn't been fool enough to listen when they told us to go ahead and advertise it with his name attached. i don't like being made a fool of. i knew, i knew it would all go wrong, but when i asked if we should put that the craig hill show was coming, the producer said yes. so it's all over fucking town. including 5 shops that I just went to this morning. why didn't they tell me yesterday?
deep breath. still, yesterday I was feeling that I didn't want to go myself. trying to find excuses for not going. now that we have it back and it's ours again, I feel better about it.
