(no subject)

all that was left to knit on the top yesterday was the final sleeve.  so i knitted it.  that'll be why we didn't eat until 7, and even then it was just leftovers.  i may have lost track of time somewhat.

never mind, the constituent pieces (and my copy of wiseman's finishing techniques) are all packed ready to be taken on holiday and put together

dad's birthday present is not finished, it too is packed and can be worked on while there.  it does have to be finished while we're there though!

i'm all packed, i think.  even the current knitting project, so am a little bored.  have packed a ball of yarn and a plastic crochet hook to try and do some swatching on the plane.  not sure if i will get a chance, but i'd hate it if the boys were fully occupied with their telly screens and i was bored.

it's cold in my house right now.  and ever so slightly misty outside,  but haven't we had a good run of weather?  yesterday was great, we had kristian over and they all played in the back garden and then we all went down the path and they played hide and seek in the trees.
