home sweet home
Apr. 13th, 2007 07:55 pmwe're home. we got ferried across charles de gaulle in a minibus again so the transfer was effrotless.
N & Bill slep ta little on the transatlantic, TT for the last half hour and me not at all. TT slept all theway on the paris eburgh flight.
all the bags made it, but we're missing the buggy (they can lose it, i think we are done with it anyeway) and TT's car seat. they ddn'#t make the connection. they were supposed to arrive at eburgh at 17.10.
everyone except Bill has had a nap, but he's an expert at jet lag unlike us three. N had far too long a nap so things might be painful at bedtime.
they'r ehaving a bath with the solar heated water, so i guess the weather has been nice here.
i was a little worried about how much we'd spent, but when i saw at the airport that our allowance is £145 *each* i was able to relax, with the exchange rate, even though we spent a *lot*, we didn't go over that. so i was able to sail through the green channel without avoiding eye contact!
lots of photos have been taken, it will be interesting to see how long it takes to put them all up on here.
i have a lot of catching up to do here i think, mum and dd have a very slow intenet connection...
