i need inspiration
Jul. 24th, 2007 10:36 ami have a houseful of yarn. and no idea what to do next.
the only WIP left is the wrap top, and the 2nd sleeve is now half attached and all that's left is to decide just how i'm going to fasten it to make it wearable. so there's no knitting.
i'm off to watch the boys play on a bouncy castle this morning, and I have NOTHING TO DO! i will not cope with sitting in the church hall with nothing to do. i'm contemplating not taking them, it's that bad! and it's knitting at chai tonight and i have NOTHING TO DO!
i don't usually lack inspiration, it's usually the other way around.
possibly this is because i want to do sewing stuff and machine knitting stuff and just can't settle to that either. having the kids around all the time is not conducive to sewing, or planning knitting/crochet projects. once i start the new job i will only have about an hour a day to make things. that's not a lot and i'm not sure how i will cope.
aaargh.
of course if i had organised my stash better and plugged it all into ravelry i would have a world of inspiration at my fingertips, right?
i did go looking yesterday to see what was being done with rowan cotton tape, but the only thing i really liked was my own wrap top!
i need something to do by 7.30 tonight, that's for sure.
EDIT: duh. today is tuesday, it is *not* knitting night. duh.
