once more into the easy chair

off for chemo number 6 this morning.  wish me luck.

although i'm not so nervous about this one as i was last time.  it's not new drugs any more, and i have 2mm of hair, so who can complain about that.  well, me, actually, since i also have the wisps of 2 inch long hair and i wonder what i'm going to do about it.

took 4 needles and 3 nurses, worst yet.  badly bruised hand and wrist

my underarm lymph nodes *were* sampled during the surgery, i'd had the impression they weren't done.

consultant can remove parts of medical notes if you request to see them

steroid slump might be at the root of the extreme tiredness, so will be taking them for longer and tailikng off

take a lorazepam on morning of next treatment

first time we'd seen a fellow patient in tears
