tech savvy parents..

or tech savvy friends of parents. i just had a skype conversation with my parents thanks to a friend of theirs who is staying with them. video and everything.

the boys heard something and got out of bed, so they got to say goodnight too.

Nico and I went out for a walk down the path after tea. it was nice.

i made tacos for tea. the boys really liked them, they only had the chili mixture in their first taco, and just had cheese, corn and sour cream in their other two, but they stuffed themselves and really enjoyed their tea.

it has been a most pleasant evening.

and now i have knitting and the internet until bedtime.

heart scan tomorrow morning at 9.30....

not that i didn't thoroughly enjoy her stuff before, but ever since i read that Stephanie Pearl McPhee was an LLL Leader, she's been one of my heroes.

her post today makes her even more so.

go and read it. but for most of you she's preaching to the converted. but it's nice to see it somewhere with such a huge readership.

oh and...

the nice people at Ward 1 at the Western have rescheduled my first Herceptin appt for a week later and at 9.30. So Bill will be home, and we will be able to drop the boys off at school first.

and i forgot to mention that my parents were able to see my new hair via webcam tonight. i love technology!
