lessons learned

thereyougothenif i forget to take the voltarols two mornings in a row, taking one in the evening before going out is not going to stop me from getting very stiff anf sore from sitting still and is going to leave me with a bad night's sleep.
if i am already not sleeping well, a 4 year old deciding he needs to sleep with mummy at 2.52am is going to make it even worse.
i need to take drugs every day. this bothers me.
the officemates *had* got me a card before yesterday, becasue it was signed by someone who is off on leave this week. (it arrived in the post today) so the scuttling around yesterday must have been to get everyone else to sign it. but it was only signed by the other PA's, they hadn't taken it round the rest of my workmates. why am i surprised?
if a 4 year old has been being good (and bragging about it) for over a week, one little meltdown of a thursday morning is enough to send his mother into floods of tears.
(trigger phrase: I want daddy)
ah well.
