thereyougothenLidl's microwave popcorn is too salty. yes, even for me, who normally adds salt to microwave popcorn.
sainsbury's chilean sauvignon blanc however is quite nice. the problem is that i may have drunk rather a lot of it along wiht the very salty popcorn.
i haven't had any wine since monday, so i may have a headache in the morning.
when the boys and i have to go and deliver some leaflets. for Bill. or actually for the lib dems.
the election. i have always voted for a party as opposed to an individual i've never voted "locally" but this time I think I am going to. my local councillor lives around the corner. my constituency MSP is completely approachable at jsut about anytime, not only when there is an election.
of course my view may be skewed becasue my partner is a known supporter and indeed delivers leaflets for them (well, when he's not in hawaii or japan and me and the kids do it instead), but i know that my MSP has respoinded to friends' problems quickly and followed up as well. (have to admit that this was the case when we were in Nigel Griffiths constutiency and that dind't make me vote forhim though)
anyway. because of this familiarity, i am probably voting lib dem. ever since i have had the vote in this country i have voted SNP. in the last scottish parliament elections my list vote went to the greens.
my heart is still with scottish independence in europe. my list vote (and my number 2 in the PR council vote) is still going to be green. the greens support independence. so if we get to the point where there's a vote for a referendum, a green MSP is going to vote in favour. so voting green is the right thing to do. and the thing is, if i wasn't thinking about my own neighbourhood and how i like the fact that i am "alison" to my local councillor and local MSP, i would probably be voting "first vote green" this time. ok, so I feel guilty for voting local.
