job interview

went well, I think. job is *not* standard school clerical assistant. it's direct support to head teacher to free up her time to work more with the kids. the job is right up my street.

this head teacher left sciennes to go to castleview. castleview is in craigmillar. it says something that she chose to leave the bastion of the middle classes and go to craigmillar. i liked her. a job there would be an education for me too.

they'll make a decision today. i should know by tomorrow. no news my tomorrow means i haven't got it.

i want this one.

eh, yes, craigmillar is trying to pull itself up, or rather i think the city is still waiting for the area to start trying to. so no, not somewhere to move to this year.
i'd like to think that in a few years it will be different. they're building lots of houses that at least look pretty, i hope they are pretty all the way through.

Good luck pal, hope you get the job. Word of advice though, take the bus or walk, or you might find your car is on bricks rather than wheels by the end of the day!

ta. the current plan is to think about the pushbike (no don't fall about laughing!)
it's too close to drive except on bad days, too far to walk except on really good days, and the buses are a lottery.

so i should get on my bike.

besides, they aren't going to pay me enough to afford the bus!
