saw the oncologist yesterday morning.

not much to write home about. was only in there for less than 10 minutes. hey, i'm doing pretty well, you know all that tiredness and stuff? well, I'm afraid I'm just average.

what's probably not average is how well i'm doing. oh and i get credit for my positive attitude. rather a lot of credit. (even if i do say so myself).

anyway, i managed to get to the story sack sewing session at N's nursery after all. adn did a bit of sewing and came away with 5 to finish up over the weeks holiday that we have just started/.

so while some bits of life are causing us stress and frustration, my treatments aren't.

we are planning to have a eurovision song contest party this year. it is conveniently on 24 May, which is long enough after my final chemo (currently scheduled to be 16 April) to make us think we can have a big party and have a good time. if you live in striking distance, we'll expect to see you...

but in the meantime, i have the first of 4 CMF treatments next wednesday. and we don't know what that's going to be like.

Huzzah for the positives!

Eurovision party sounds fab. I hope I can make it.

Oh, I just posted about my first completed knitting project, which I couldn't have done without a stitch holder. :D

You got a round of applause at my wedding when I explained the wearable sculpture and where it had been. I hope it was video'd so I can show you.

Positive attitude counts for a very great deal, and (allegedly) doubles the effects of chemo. Or at least makes the side effects a bit more bearable. Good for you!

I'll be at the party unless it actually, literally kills me.

I'm glad you're doing well.
