so' i've not got carpal tunnel, it's the other one, the nerve that runs through the elbow. that's why it's my pinkie and ring finger that have stopped working. and actually all of my fingers at some points in the day.
i thought the numb pinkie was nerve damage from the chemo, but it's been getting steadily worse over the last week, not better, and that's a bit wrong, don't you think?
unfortunately all i am doing at work at the moment is cutting and pasting between documents. it's like click, drag, ctrl-x, alt-tab, ctrl-v, repeat ad nauseum. that's not doing me a lot of good, but what am i supposed to do? i only have 6 more days there, can't exactly take a sickie.
but if this gets any worse, i won't be able to dress myself. i had to ask Bill to do one of my buttons up this morning. must go find my splint. and see if i can find an acupuncturist who works evenings.
i need my left hand, you know, really need it...

Date: 2008-09-03 07:07 am (UTC)that's why i thought the numbness should be getting better, it's been the in the pinkie for ages, but that made sense becasue all my chemo was in my left hand, and the epirubicin is a nasty. but... my last two herceptins have been in my right hand and really it should have started to recover, but in fact it's quickly getting worse. hence my realisation that it's actually my own stupid fault for not being careful at the computer, and possibly also too much sock knitting!
