acrylic sucks

tt's gromit pullover is pilled all to hell. i think it has now been washed twice. not tumble dried either. why would someone have put all that work into something, and use crap yarn?

i have just got the same pattern off ebay - so I must learn intarsia...then can make it in COTTON!

also got some wool/silk mix from a very nice lady who runs a tearoom in newton stewart. all human life is there.

still have pounds and pounds of acrylic to use up - and have now made 3 preemie hats, one pair booties and 7/9ths of a hospital cot blanket...
