ack! no buttons gromit

well, my first ever complaint about a burda sewing pattern. it's a blouse. the pictures on the front show buttons.

i've just noticed that there are no buttonhole placement lines on the pattern and no instructions for the buttonholes and buttons.

and this is a start 3 pattern, for not much more than beginners. oh dear.

i think i can wing it.

we were driving home today along the A198, which is the road that follows the railway line - a favourite route for a small redhead. along came a train, it kept pace with us, so TT was waving maniacally. guess what? the driver waved back. then gathered speed and disappeared.
