Jun. 9th, 2005 11:07 pmso House is now on channel 5. which is really a different channel to when it started, didn't it used to be full of crap? it's disconcerting enough to see hugh laurie in an american accent, and not playing a bumbling idiot, but then the adverts come on and there's his real voice over on an ad for travel inn, or last week on halmark, i'm sure it was him on pampers.
i like House though, and at least channel 5 seem to have started with the first episode, unlike hallmark who first showed one mum said was from midseason, and then the next week one i'd seen in the states, anyway, i understand a lot more now. still, wathcing it on channel five means i give up my bbc news at 10 routine. maybe a change will be good for me!
today at clambers we were discussing celebrity love island and big brother - or at least two of the others were, i think i probably had my mouth open. i asked didn't the people on celebrity love island have any self respect? and they all burst out laughing at me. maybe i should watch more telly. but then again my friends wouldn't find me so amusing.
i did look at the first episode of big brother, long enough to see that there was a saskia on it, which gave me a nice warm feeling.
time to go and work out a way to use the start of the baby trousers as a baby pullover instead. but using knitware while sleepy is probably not a good idea...
