so, either i was so exhausted that i heard nothing, or N slept all night again. which do you think?

i was woken up by the postie at 7.10. (both boys were calling "mummy mumyy" at this point but I ignored them and went back to bed, and what do you know? it worked!) still, at least i was all ready to go when Liam arrived. Liam wasn't happy at being left, but settled eventually.

N & TT eventually woke up again, Liam's crying helped with that of course.

i have made blueberry muffins (get thee to Lidl and buy some of their blueberries - £1.49 a punnet! lovely big blueberries and not a nasty one in the bunch, very pleased I am) said blueberry muffins are cooling now, and the three boys are sat in front of the telly waiting for them. I've said that as a special treat and since L was wailing so much, they could have their breakfast in front of the telly.

i'm mrs domestic this morning, emptied the dishwasher (well, it was run 2 days ago) and reloaded it. how is it full already? load of wash is almost done and ready to be hung out. sun is shining (it's not my domesticity that has made the sun shine, that was just an aside).

and I get to go out on my own this afternoon (only to argos & the pet food shop, but it will be ALL ALONE for a little while!)

two very useful 3 word sentences today:

"mummy, i'm pooing"
"mummy, a bee"

the first when he was indeed doing the aforementioned deed, although he then immediatley denied it and ran away and hid.

the second when i'd followed the sound of his wailing out to the garden, and found him in his stocking feet and a wasp stuck to one of the socks.

he was remarkably unscathed for a wasp sting, it was a white dot on his foot, whivch eventually turned into a red blotch. when i went out later to retieve his sock, the wasp had gone, i believe it may have survived.

however, i had been afriad to let go of with N or my first aid book. I needn't have worried though, as I was later reassured that his daddy is allergic to bees, not wasps.

since Liam had come to our house for breakfast and lucnh, we went to his for tea. i must get some sainsburys sweet & sour chicken sauce, becasue my two ate loads of that and two helping of homemade (and homegrown) gooseberry crisp (ie, crumble made with porridge oats instead of flour, it's an american thing) each.

and N was a nightmare when we got home, had to wrestl;e him into new nappy and pjs, forcefeed him some water (which he really really needed) then he fell asleep while feeding for the first time in months.

TT seems to have two new spots on his face wi=hich isn;t good, so i applied more cream, we'd been leaving that as i thought the antibiotics were torture enough, but he has to go to nursery on monday, so i slathered it on tonight. he too is now in bed. and took his 4 servings of spiky medicine like a champ today. i've promised him a major prize when he takes the last dose - finally an opportunity to unveil the leap-pad!

time to go and knit. then bed. i have just had chocolate. thank goodness for chocolate.

(oops, i bought two things on ebay today. Bill shouldn't leave me on my own)
