Phew. Milagros is very happy to work daily. In fact she's thrilled. My Spanish teacher helped me talk to her this morning.
I am much relieved. From Monday she will come daily. We will pay her the same, but add on her bus fare each day.
This afternoon, unpromted, she and Nico went out to play in the garden, and i heard them telling each other the english/spanish names for things. TT elected to stay in. Then we made some xmas cards for the teachers, and M joined us at the table and did some playing wiht rubber stamps and stuff. I left them to it and went to Jumbo to get some chicken. M eats chicken and sausages. No other meat, and no fish. Well, in a way, it's an improvement, becasue Barbara didn't eat sausages, and they are a stapleof the boys' diet!
Still, now she will only be eating dinner with us on rare occasions, so we can easily ensure we are either eating vegetarian or something she likes on those days.
I am very relieved.
The boys have been remakable good today. Getting up was no more difficult than usual, and neither was bedtime. We'll see how tomorrow goes, last day of semester, so school from 7.45 to 11.45 for N, and until 12.00 for TT.
I have a spanish lesson from 10-11.30, then will have a mad dash to school. Parking was a nightmare today, and will be worse tomorrow. Still, summer holidays!
