i had a lovely afternoon yesterday.  the sun shone, and hfnuala and Aisling and halle and Julia and Ella came over for TT's  teddy bears' picnic.  the teddies were chucked on a rug on the grass and forgotten about, but the rest of us had a lovely time.  at least I did, so thank you all for coming!

TT also got his wish of meeting Aisling, which he had wanted to do when she was about 2 days old.  much better to meet her now, when she opened her eyes and looked around herself a couple of times.

also yesterday i got the second set of snake oil shots.  i was fine until the evening, when i had to volunteer to do bedtime stories so that Bill could make our tea, becasue standing up was out of the question.

today it is very bad indeed.  i spent the morning on the sofa while Bill did everything,  eventually had a shower after he went to work.  later took the boys to ocean terminal for play time at Molly's and lunch.  I knitted 4 rows while they played.  I am enjoying this stitch pattern,  i might even be able to do it without my crib sheet soon.  unfortunatley there is a rough spot on the join of the cable to needle on my 5mm bamboos.  must find an emery board.

i've decided I think to ask for the set of bamboo interchangeables for my birthday.

i'm hoping to go to knitting tonight, so i must just go and rest some more I think.

Darn, would've been lovely to see you all, but I was Otherwise Engaged. Glad you had a good time.

If the weather improves again, you should all come for a picnic on the beach.

Sorry about the pain horribleness, though. Hope it's passing - and let me know if there's help I can offer.
