suddenly I have time for books!
Sep. 18th, 2006 02:55 pmI'm currenlty reading 44 Scotland Street. I've got an anthology of short stories ready and waiting, but i'm also wonderng if I should pick up the outlander series that my mum left for me, raving about them saying they're great. gourdongirl happened to mention one this morning and included a link and since i was bored (and lonley, yes, they're still away) i went looking.
by far the most interesting thing I discovered, and what made me think that I must after all read them, even if my mum did tell me to, is that it was all inspired by seeing a "rather fetching" young man in a kilt on a Dr Who episode. (can't make a link to that since I couldn't escape from the frame I seemed to be trapped in!)
oh and the author is an Ecology PhD.
so friends list - should I read them?
