thereyougotheni got home at 9.15 last night to discover that for dinner they had roast chicken, mashed potatoes and purple sprouting broccoli from the garden. (it was too late for me to eat that, so I had scrambled eggs for the second time that day.)
the laundry was done, if not folded and put away
the upstairs shower room (where the shower had been out of order until friday) was clean as a whistle.
I think that I don't know I'm born. well, actually I do. Last time I checked I was up there with the luckiest people I know. sounds like a lot of the other mothers at skipnorth returned home to bonb sites!
